Artwork Questions

Bleed is a printing term that is used to describe a document which has images or elements that touch the edge of the page, extending beyond the trim edge and leaving no white margin. When a document has bleed, it must be printed on a larger sheet of paper and then trimed down. Please call and talk to our graphics department with any questions on how to set up your artwork if it requires a bleed.

You can send us large files via our FTP.

Our design fees are $100/hr. An estimate for the number of hours required for the scope of your project can be provided to you before the design process begins.  Our team of graphic designers will make sure you walk away with a product that you are proud of.

Files that are sent to us in a print ready state will save you money.  Most programs (including Microsoft Word and Publisher) can export files and high resolution PDF files.  If you are unsure how best to save your files for the best output, please call and talk to Craig in our graphics department, or send him and email at graphics@artwingraphics.com.

Printing Questions

It depends.  If your photograph is from a professional studio, you will need to obtain a copyright release from the photographer.  If your photo is a snapshot, we can either enlarge the photo on our color copier, or we can print it on high quality photographic paper.  If you would like the enlargement on photographic paper, this option takes a few days.  If your photograph is digital, the resolution of the photo needs to be high enough to produce an enlargement.

Yes, we have a full range of options for your custom invitations.  Feel free to stop by and look at our invitation books.

This is another question we get very frequently.  It really depends on the card.  Our basic “Speed Card” starts at $25 for 500 cards. This is a one color card with the option of red, blue or black ink.  It does not include any custom logos, but there is an option for a stock logo.  Depending on the options (paper quality, ink and other selections) the price will increase from here.   A full color, double sized business card on a glossy thick cardstock is $75 for 500 and $100 for 1000.  This price does not include artwork setup, if necessary.

There are so many different options for copies (color, paper weight, paper size)  that it is difficult for us to give a standard answer to this question.  We are happy to give you a custom quote for your specific project if you give us a call.
